In October 2009, Housing Company of SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. launched a housing business in Bangkok, and the surrounding area in Thailand, and implemented test marketing. In 2012, by reaching the expectations, had constructed the mass construction plant and launched the full operation in 2013. Overseas business by Sekisui’s Housing Company is developing housing business rooted in the country itself, with local procurement and local manufacturing.
This method of housing business is characterized by being configured in Japan, from building plants to distribution, construction, and after-sale services, and then developed as joint management with local firms. In the housing business in Thailand, we established the house manufacturing company SEKISUI-SCG INDUSTRY CO., LTD. and the distributor company SCG-SEKISUI SALES CO., LTD. in joint partnership with SCG Building Materials Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Siam Cement Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Thailand. The house sold in Thailand under the brand name of “SCGHEIM.”
The Signature
Modular homes will be developed in the new phases of Perfect Masterpieces, starting in 4 locations Krungthep Kreetha, Ramkhamhaeng, Chaeng Wattana and Rattanathibet. A total of 74 units will be built with the combined value of approximately Bt2,230 million, specifically for high-end customers showing enthusiasm for technology and innovation.
Property Perfect plays its role in selecting the locations suitable for the joint venture while both parties work together in the designing stage. Four modular home designs have been available, coming with 255-475 sq.m. in space at the price range of Bt25-Bt60 million. They are the exclusive products of Property Perfect that combine elegance, designs specifically for Thai lifestyle and advanced technology from Japan. The modular homes will be constructed with sections manufactured by Sekisui-SCG Industry Co.,Ltd. These sections will be assembled at its factory and the complete houses will be installed at the selected sites.
